We’ll only take NDC’s fight against corruption seriously if Sedinam Tamakloe is brought to Ghana – Owusu Bempah

Deputy Communication Director of the NPP, Ernest Owusu Bempah, has called on the government’s Operation Recover All Loot Team to begin retrieving funds from Sedinam Tamakloe, a convicted former MASLOC boss and NDC member.

Speaking on UTV, Owusu Bempah questioned the NDC’s credibility in fighting corruption, arguing that they have no moral right to do so after clearing individuals previously standing trial for corruption-related offences.

He insisted that until the NDC enforces the court’s ruling against Tamakloe, their anti-corruption efforts remain questionable.

He also dismissed claims of "state capture" under the former NPP administration, accusing the NDC of selectively pursuing political opponents while overlooking corruption within their ranks.
