We shall continue uncompleted healthcare projects – Mahama

President John Mahama has vowed to complete unfinished healthcare facilities to improve access and quality across Ghana.

Speaking at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission National Convention in Winneba, he emphasized the importance of continuing abandoned projects as part of expanding healthcare access.

"We shall operationalize these facilities as key steps to ensure accessible, quality medical care," he said.

Mahama reaffirmed his campaign promise to revive stalled projects, including the Agenda 111 initiative, aimed at constructing 111 hospitals and three psychiatric facilities in underserved districts.

Out of the planned hospitals, only three were partially completed under the previous administration but remain non-operational.

Mahama also stressed the need for investment in both infrastructure and human resources to strengthen the nation's health sector.
