Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President, is the NPP's 2024 flagbearer. He urged his party to expand its reform agenda.
While addressing supporters in the Oti Region, he emphasized broader engagement. He said it’s important to include more voices from Ghanaian society.
“Looking ahead, we should broaden our base in our next reforms,” Dr. Bawumia stated. He highlighted the need for input from youth, women’s groups, traditional authorities, and businesses.
Speaking at a town-hall meeting in Dambai, he reflected on lessons from the 2024 campaign. He praised party volunteers for their dedication but stressed continuous improvement.
“Our strength lies in our unity and diversity,” he noted. “By reaching out to new stakeholders, we strengthen our party and our nation.”
