Wontumi FM’s Ohene Nana arrested for false publication

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Ohene Nana Asiedu, host of Wontumi FM's Morning Show, for spreading false information.

In a viral video, Asiedu claimed that the 2024 presidential elections in Ghana would be held on different days for various candidates.

Following the broadcast, he was invited by the police on November 22, 2024, and subsequently arrested after reporting to the police.

He is expected to be arraigned in court, according to a statement from the Police.
