Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, NPP’s running mate, labeled voters in the Ashanti Region who support the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as "nation-wreckers" during a health walk in Manhyia South, Kumasi.

He criticized the NDC for neglecting the region and stated that voting for them would betray Ashanti interests.

Napo urged NPP supporters to remain loyal and help secure 85% of the region’s votes for the party in the upcoming elections.
