2 dead, many injured in accident at Gomoa Simbrofo

A tragic accident occurred at 5 a.m. on Thursday at Gomoa Simbrofo on the Winneba-Mankesim Highway, resulting in two fatalities.

A sprinter bus, fully loaded and traveling from Kaneshie to Takoradi, lost control after a rear tire burst, veering off the road and hitting a tree.

Eyewitness Gyata Nyame Twum reported that two individuals died at the scene. Emergency responders assisted the injured, who were transported to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
