ADB donates water pumps to boost police training school operations in Kenyasi

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has shown its commitment to community development.

They donated three water pumps and boosters to the Regional Police Training School in Kenyasi, Ahafo Region.

The equipment is valued at GH¢28,677. It will improve the school’s water supply system and enhance sanitation. This support will benefit both trainees and staff.

At a brief ceremony, Mr. Kwabena Oppong represented ADB as Assistant Area Manager for Bono and Ahafo Regions. He emphasized the bank’s dedication to national security through logistics support.

Mr. Oppong explained that this donation is part of ADB’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. The aim is to strengthen public institutions and communities vital for national development.

“We are here on behalf of the Agricultural Development Bank,” he stated. “We donate water pumps and boosters to support the important work at the Regional Police Training School.”

He added, “We believe this gesture will improve comfort and efficiency at the school.”

Chief Superintendent Samuel Omari-Anim received the donation on behalf of the school. He expressed deep appreciation for ADB’s timely intervention.

He noted that reliable water access had been a persistent challenge for them.

“This generous support from ADB shows their commitment to agriculture, finance, national development, and security,” he said.

Chief Superintendent Omari-Anim also affirmed their willingness to collaborate with institutions like ADB for national goals.
