Minority Leader and Effutu MP, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has commissioned a newly constructed 6-unit classroom block for Effutu AME Zion A.B.C JHS, replacing the school's previously unsafe structure. The facility aims to enhance education and provide a safer learning environment for pupils.

During the commissioning, Afenyo-Markin advised female students to avoid early relationships and warned male students against drug abuse and early sexual activity. He also pledged to construct an ICT center and library to further support education in the area.

Beyond education, the Minority Leader criticized the current government for allegedly harassing former appointees, urging a focus on national development rather than political intimidation.

He called for an end to the practice of tarnishing political opponents after elections, emphasizing the need for stability and security.

Effutu Municipal Education Director, Diana Anderson, commended Afenyo-Markin’s efforts in improving education and assured the public that the new facility would be well-maintained for future generations.
