The chiefs and people of Akyem Tafo have announced a noise-making ban. This ban is effective from June 3 to June 17.
The ban coincides with the Ohumkan Festival and the Tafohene's 40th anniversary. Daasebre Adusei Peasah has been leading for four decades.

He highlighted Daasebre Adusei Peasah’s leadership in education, sanitation, agriculture, and social programs.
The week-long event will celebrate Akyem Tafo's rich culture and traditions.
The main durbar is scheduled for June 21. Before that, there will be various events including an inter-schools quiz, musical jams, cooking competitions, football matches, and a cultural day.
