Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has destooled Nana Amofa Twumasi II, chief of Mpasaaso No.2 in the Ashanti Region, over allegations including illegal mining, questionable royal lineage, and lack of accountability.

The chief, who ruled for 41 years, was found guilty after appearing before the Asanteman Kumasi Traditional Council at Manhyia Palace.
