Body of missing 3-year-old found in abandoned dam at Bibiani

A three-year-old girl has been found dead in an abandoned dam. This incident occurred in Attakrom, a suburb of Bibiani. The area is part of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality in the Western North Region.

The girl was identified as Vincentia Kyeremah. She was a kindergarten pupil who went missing on Saturday.

Her uncle, Daniel Donkor, reported that all efforts to find her failed. Her lifeless body was discovered on Monday afternoon.

The family had informed the Bibiani police about her disappearance before the tragic discovery. Police and community leaders launched a search for her.

Daniel Donkor suspects foul play in his niece’s death. He is urging police to conduct a forensic investigation into the case.

The police have retrieved the body for preservation and autopsy. Investigations into the incident are now underway.
