Bole gets new DVLA office

The town of Bole is celebrating. The Savannah Region now has a new Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) office.

This new office will help drivers and motor riders. They no longer need to travel long distances to Tamale or Wa for services.

At the opening ceremony, Yussif Sulemana spoke. He is the Member of Parliament for Bole and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources. He urged staff to maintain professionalism at all times.

Sulemana warned against misconduct. He emphasized that he would support disciplinary actions when necessary.

He stated, “Anyone who misbehaves here should know I will support action, including dismissal.”

Mr. Sulemana thanked DVLA CEO Julius Neequaye Kotey and President John Dramani Mahama. Their efforts have brought development and job opportunities to Bole and the Savannah Region.

He encouraged residents to use this office for their documents. This way, they can avoid police harassment for lacking proper documentation.

DVLA CEO Julius Neequaye Kotey also spoke at the event. He warned the public against using middlemen or paying unofficial fees.

Kotey assured everyone that official charges would be displayed publicly. Clients should only pay as directed by the office.

He also thanked Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I for providing land. Sixty acres were released for DVLA's future permanent facilities in the region.
