Members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) wore traditional attire. They celebrated the beauty of Ga culture.
It was also rare to see SMT members cooking groundnut soup. This dish pairs perfectly with kokonte.
The vibrant atmosphere marked Global Media Alliance’s Ghana Month celebration in March 2025.
The event honored Ghana's rich heritage with food, music, and fashion. It showcased traditions that make Ghana unique.
Cultural dance performances energized the crowd. Authentic Ghanaian musicians filled the air with soothing melodies. The aroma of local dishes added to the festive spirit.
Guests enjoyed a variety of Ghanaian dishes. These included Abomu, Banku with Okro Soup, and Yam with Kontomire. Kokonte with Groundnut Soup and Angwa Mo were also served.
In this lively setting, everyone worked together seamlessly. There were no divisions between teams—digital, PR, event planning, accounts, business development, or IT.
The dedication shown during the celebration was unmatched.
A highlight was when CEO Mr. Ernest Boateng joined his team on the ground. He checked on food preparation and admired dance performances. He shared stories about various Ghanaian cultures with young staff members.
Emma Wenani, Chief Director of Global Media Alliance, praised her team’s efforts. She commended their commitment to excellence and teamwork for this event.
“What we achieved wasn’t just a celebration of culture,” Emma said. “It was a celebration of our unity as a team.”
The GMA Ghana Month celebration has been an annual tradition since its inception in March. It honors Ghana’s cultural heritage while fostering collaboration within the organization.
