Domestic abuse allegations unfold on live radio as couple reaches settlement on Nhyira FM

A young pregnant woman has shared her story of abuse. She claims her boyfriend, Collins Yeboah, has abandoned her and their child.

Speaking on Nhyira FM, she described a recent assault. This happened after she asked him for financial help. “All I asked for was help, and he raised his hand again,” she said tearfully.

Now pregnant with their second child, she feels completely alone. Collins has cut off emotional and financial support for her and their one-and-a-half-year-old.

She revealed that Collins sold the oven used for her baking business. “That oven was my lifeline,” she explained. “He sold it, and now I have nothing.”

During the mediation session, Collins admitted to hitting her. However, he tried to shift blame onto her behavior. “She curses me every single day,” he claimed.

Listeners were outraged by his admission of violence. Many expressed disbelief that it took public intervention to address the issue.

Despite the tension, Nhyira FM helped broker a fragile peace. Collins agreed not to hit her again and to support them both financially.

In return, she promised to stop cursing him and respect him. The agreement warns that any violations could lead to legal action.

This case has sparked discussions about domestic abuse and women's vulnerability in relationships. Critics argue that women should not have to negotiate for safety after violence occurs.

As debates continue on social media, one thing is clear: this situation reflects society's struggle to protect women effectively.
