Eight-year-old Adwoa Mila Mensah, a child living with cerebral palsy in the Eastern Region, has received a brand-new chest freezer from the Department of Social Welfare in the West Akim Municipal Assembly.

This support aims to help her family start a sachet water business at home.

Her mother, Naomi Kyeremanteng, revealed that Adwoa has never walked or crawled and requires constant care due to her condition.

With her husband as the family's sole breadwinner, the financial burden has been immense.

Naomi, who requested the freezer in October, expressed gratitude for the government’s support and hopes the business will alleviate their financial struggles. She also appealed to philanthropists for further assistance to sustain the family and improve their livelihood.
