A fire broke out at residential apartments in Mallam Atta, Accra, around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, causing significant damage but no injuries.
Although residents lost property, the Ghana National Fire Service quickly brought the situation under control.
Meanwhile, residents have accused the fire service of a delayed response, but the service refuted this, stating they received the distress call at 6:08 p.m. and arrived at 6:16 p.m.
An investigation into the fire's cause is underway.
