Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro and Deputy Minister for Information, Sylvester Tetteh, has refuted allegations that he demolished a Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) bungalow.
Speaking after accusations surfaced, Tetteh attributed the claims to administrative lapses within GBC.
He clarified that the disputed land, located in the Akwasa area, was allocated for a public school by the Ga South Municipal Assembly, which oversaw the demolition of a dilapidated structure.
Tetteh criticized GBC’s Director of Legal Affairs for allegedly misrepresenting the situation and threatened to investigate how GBC lands were allocated for private developments.
He dismissed claims of demolishing a bungalow, describing the structure as an unoccupied and dilapidated building.
"I am committed to addressing these baseless accusations and ensuring transparency regarding the use of public lands," he stated.
