The International Precious Metals Bullion (IPMB) has launched a water project to improve the livelihoods of communities affected by illegal mining.
The initiative aims to construct 50 boreholes, providing essential access to clean water.
At the launch, IPMB founder John Vakis emphasized the vital role of water in improving lives. The Director of IPMB Africa, Ohene Dankwa Agyeman Duah, highlighted the transformative impact of clean water on communities.
The chief of Kyebi-Afiesa, Otafregya Agyeman Kumaning II, expressed gratitude and called for more international support.
The project is expected to significantly enhance community health and development.
