Mortician burned alive by mob over murder allegations in Adum Dominase

A mortician in his 30s was burned to death by an angry mob at Adum Dominase in the Mpohor Fiase District following accusations of his involvement in the murder of a missing woman.

District Chief Executive Ignatius Assah Mensah confirmed that the woman, also in her 30s, had been reported missing on December 18.

Her lifeless body was later found under suspicious circumstances at the Adum Dominase market.

By evening, the District Police Commander informed the DCE that residents had set the suspected mortician ablaze.

Details surrounding the woman’s death and the mob action remain unclear, but the police have launched investigations to establish the facts and hold those responsible for the vigilante justice accountable.
