One person is missing and five others are injured after a Sprinter Bus plunged into a river on the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway.
The accident occurred at Fetteh Kakraba on Thursday morning when the bus skidded off the road.
Reports indicate that the under-construction bridge at the site was not covered by the contractor, Nag Fairmont Company, and lacked proper safety signage.
Local residents have called on Minister of Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, to address these safety lapses.
The injured are being treated at Awutu Bereku Health Center.
