One person killed after fuel tanker collides with truck in Kintampo

One person died on Wednesday in a collision at Kintampo Waterfalls junction. A Man-Diesel fuel tanker and a HOWO truck were involved. The accident occurred on the Kintampo-Tamale highway.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) received a distress call at 12:14 pm. The call reported the crash between the tanker, registration GN-4895-20, and the truck, registration GE-555-23.

The GNFS responded quickly. They dispatched a crew led by ASTNO Bismark Bonnah Frimpong. Upon arrival, they rescued one driver who was trapped but alive.

Earlier, four injured passengers were rescued and taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, one motionless person was found in the HOWO truck.
