Queenmother of Goaso empowers vigilante group to safeguard palace after Omanhene's passing

The queenmother of the Goaso Traditional Area, Nana Afia Serwaa, has endorsed a local vigilante group, "Salifu 11," to provide security for the community and the Omanhene's palace following the death of Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, the Goasomanhene.

During the formal announcement of the Omanhene's passing on December 23, the queenmother addressed the group, urging them to maintain order and deal firmly with any individuals attempting to falsely claim the Omanhene title.

“I am solidly behind you. The town is for me. If you see anyone acting against the town or the palace, you have the right to act,” Nana Afia Serwaa declared, underscoring the importance of protecting Goaso’s stability during the transitional period.
