School girl who went missing at Kasoa found in Hohoe

Ethel Faf Ali Tottimeh, a 13-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Kasoa on August 21, 2024, has been found safe in Hohoe.

After disappearing on her way to extra classes, her family raised the alarm, leading to widespread sharing of her missing person’s notice on social media.

A breakthrough came when a mobile money vendor in Hohoe recognized Ethel from the notice after she used the vendor’s phone to make a call.

The vendor alerted her family, who tracked her location and successfully reunited with her.

It's still unclear how Ethel ended up in another region.
