Scores injured in multi-vehicle crash at Krofrom in Kumasi

Many people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Krofrom, Kumasi.

The accident happened on Friday evening during heavy rain. Eyewitnesses reported that a cargo truck had brake failure.

This occurred while the truck was descending a major intersection near the X5 Pub. The truck crashed into several cars, motorbikes, and tricycles, known as ‘pragya.’

The crash caused panic and destruction in the area. Passersby helped by opening damaged vehicles to rescue trapped drivers and passengers.

Injured individuals were quickly taken to nearby health facilities for treatment. The total number of casualties is still unknown.

Authorities urge road users to be cautious during bad weather conditions.
