Slain Momo vendor in Aflao to be laid to rest on June 7

The family of a mobile money vendor has set the burial date. Christopher Ahordor was killed in Aflao. His burial is scheduled for June 7, 2025.

Christopher lost his life on April 28. He was a victim of an armed robbery in Ketu South Municipality, Volta Region.

His elder brother, Daniel Ahordor, confirmed the news. He said, “The Ghana Police Service has released our brother’s body.” The family is preparing for the funeral on June 7, 2025.

Last week, the Volta Regional Police Command arrested four suspects. They are currently assisting with the investigation into Christopher's murder.

Reports indicate that three more suspects have been arrested across the country. These arrests are also related to the murder case.

Mr. Ahordor expressed confidence in the police investigation. He stated, “We trust the work of the Police.” Seven people have been arrested and will return to court in a month’s time.
