Stanbic Bank Ghana donates over GH ₵500,000 to key institutions in Ho

Stanbic Bank Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to national development. The bank donated over GH₵500,000 in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region. These contributions focus on education, security, and healthcare training.

The bank supported three major institutions: UHAS, the Ghana Police Training School, and Mawuli School. Each received resources to strengthen capacity and improve infrastructure.

At UHAS, Stanbic Bank donated digital learning tools. This included 10 laptops, 20 tablets, two 75-inch TVs, and a high-definition video camera. These tools will enhance medical training and research.

The Ghana Police Training School received GH₵141,251.50 for infrastructure upgrades. This funding will help train future police officers who uphold law and order.

Mawuli School received a GH₵100,000 investment for classroom renovations. The funds will be used for reroofing and refurbishing a 6-unit classroom block.

Harry Opoku Agyeman leads the bank’s delegation. He emphasized that these donations are investments in Ghana's future. “We support institutions that build our country,” he stated.

He added that Stanbic Bank aims to drive growth and uplift communities. Supporting education and security shapes a resilient Ghana.

Gilbert Alorbu, Branch Manager in Ho, echoed this commitment. He noted that Ho is important to the national fabric. “We’re enabling progress through digital tools and upgrades,” he said.

Leaders from all three institutions expressed gratitude to Stanbic Bank. They praised the bank's meaningful approach to corporate social investment.

Stanbic Bank Ghana shows that banking goes beyond financial services. It stands with communities to enable progress and drive lasting change.
