The resurrection of Jesus Christ was celebrated with hope in Tsiame this Easter. The Tsiame Dunenyo Movement (TDM) donated medical supplies to the Tsiame CHPS Compound. This act of generosity united community leaders, healthcare workers, and residents.
A Gesture of Compassion and Unity
On April 20, 2025, TDM’s Mentors League met at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church. They gathered after a Mass led by Rev. Fr. Gustav Adjaho. In front of a packed congregation, they presented essential medications to the CHPS Compound. The donation included anti-malarials, pain relievers, multivitamins, and blood boosters.
Collaborative Efforts for Community Health
M&G Pharmaceutical Company and Amponsah Effah Pharmaceuticals partnered with TDM for this donation. Originally intended for a health screening during the Tsiame Nunenyoza 2025 celebrations, the drugs were redirected to the CHPS Compound due to unforeseen circumstances. This ensured that resources continued to support community health.
A Call for Equitable Access
Ing. Dr Kenneth Ashigbi spoke on behalf of TDM’s Mentors League during the presentation. He stressed that medications should be free for all beneficiaries. He asked Rev. Fr. Gustav Adjaho to oversee distribution for transparency. Prof. Kobla Aheto supported this initiative and included students from Tsiame Senior Secondary School as beneficiaries.
Gratitude and Forward Vision
Ms Kattah Esinam, Lead Nurse at the CHPS Compound, accepted the donation with Gershon Saneki. She expressed deep gratitude to donors and TDM for their support. She emphasized equitable distribution and hopes for renewed health education campaigns in local churches.
Community Leaders Unite for Progress
The event highlighted collaboration among community leaders like Togbi Atieku II and church officials. Their presence showed unity in tackling health challenges in Tsiame. Rev. Fr. Gustav Adjaho concluded with a prayer blessing the initiative.
A Legacy of Care
As the CHPS Compound begins distributing supplies, this Easter donation reflects TDM’s commitment to community welfare. Leaders in Tsiame have turned challenges into opportunities through resilience and collective action.
Beneficiaries include all patients at Tsiame CHPS Compound: residents and students from nearby communities and schools will receive free medications until supplies run out.
Prof. Kobla Aheto stated, “When we prioritize our people's health, we invest in our future.” This Easter marked a significant step toward that future in Tsiame.
