The Ghana Education Service (GES) has suspended three officers from Somè Senior High School in the Volta Region following allegations of food theft.

Bursar Richard Ametorxe, Matron Yorm Dzikumu, and Storekeeper Alex Obuadi were interdicted after alumni and an assembly member discovered stolen food items in their possession.

An assistant headmistress and a cook were also arrested for their involvement in the theft.

The suspended officers must hand over their duties to the headmaster, and an investigative committee has been formed to report its findings within two weeks.
