Two dead in head-on collision between O.A. bus and motorcycle on Berekum-Sunyani road

Two people died instantly in a head-on collision between an O.A. bus and a motorcycle on the Berekum-Sunyani road early Saturday morning.

The accident occurred as the bus, traveling from Accra to Berekum, attempted to overtake a Toyota Rav4 and collided with the motorcycle.

The two individuals on the motorcycle were killed on the spot.

According to Bugri Elijah, the Sunyani Manager of O.A. buses, passengers with minor injuries have been treated and discharged, while five others remain under medical care.

The company is covering all medical expenses, and authorities are working to clear the road for safe passage.
