The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially sworn in the new executives of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The ceremony, held at the new Academic Board Chamber, saw Abraham Norman Nortey take office as President, alongside Vice-President Bridget Boahemaa Opoku, Treasurer Elisaphet Kwabena Opare, Women’s Commissioner Freda Kumi, PRO Felix Nana Wiafe, and other key executives.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong congratulated the new leaders and urged them to work collaboratively for the benefit of the student body, emphasizing the importance of service without overreach.
President Nortey, in his address, pledged to serve diligently and called for unity between students and administration.
