'I'm now focused on winning the FA Cup' - Karim Zito

Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito faces a tough challenge. Winning the league is difficult at this stage. However, he aims to avoid a trophy-less season. His focus is now on the FA Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors boosted their league chances with a 3-2 win over Medeama SC. They had to come from behind, thanks to Albert Amoah's hat trick. Zito took over recently and has shown promise with three wins and two draws in five games.

In a recent interview, Karim Zito expressed his commitment to the team. He hopes to win at least the FA Cup this season. "I have done my part," he stated. "I have played five matches and reached this point."

He added, "It is my prayer to win the FA Cup." He wants to prove his efforts to the technical director when he finishes his tenure.

Asante Kotoko's last league game will be against Vision FC this weekend. They will conclude their season with the FA Cup final against Golden Kick FC on June 15, 2025.
