'I can't wait to return to the pitch' - Abdul Fatawu Issahaku

Ghana and Leicester City attacker Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has confirmed his recovery. He is progressing well and will be fit for pre-season.

The talented winger has been out since last November. He injured himself during Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola. This injury occurred early in the match, leading to his substitution in the first half. As a result, he missed Ghana’s final Group F game against Niger. He then returned to England for further evaluation and treatment.

In an interview with Leicester City's media team, Fatawu shared his progress. He stated he is close to full recovery and eager to return. “I have been working hard,” he said. “My rehab has been good with support from everyone.”

He added, “I’ll be ready before pre-season.” Fatawu expressed excitement about getting back on the field. He looks forward to fighting for the badge as always.

Leicester City FC has been relegated again to the English Championship. The club hopes to fix issues and bounce back stronger next season.
