Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is facing scrutiny from fans. He has responded by saying their criticism makes him stronger.
The 'Phobians' were once title contenders early in the season. However, their performance has dropped recently. They are now eight points away from the top four. This decline has led to calls for Ouattara's dismissal at the end of the season.
In an interview, Ouattara said he is not bothered by the backlash. He believes he will continue next season in Accra, with support from club leadership.
He mentioned that their upcoming game against Accra Lions will be tough. The team aims to secure a win to improve their standings.
“Criticism from fans motivates me,” said Coach Ouattara. “Accra Lions is a good team and this match will be challenging.”
The game against Accra Lions is scheduled for 16:00 GMT (4:00 PM) at Ohene Gyan Stadium.
