Hearts of Oak ended the season with a 1-0 win over FC Samartex. This was their final game, but they still missed out on the top four.
The Phobians started strong, creating two chances in the first ten minutes. However, both attempts were saved by Samartex goalkeeper Zakari Musah.
FC Samartex also had a dangerous attack, but Emmanuel Amankwah defended well. In the second half, FC Samartex struggled after an early injury to Baba Hamadu. Fortunately, he was able to continue playing.
Hearts of Oak scored in the 56th minute. Konadu Yiadom jumped high to connect with Raphael Amponsah's delivery.
Ten minutes later, FC Samartex nearly equalized, but Emmanuel Mamah's shot was saved by Benjamin Asare. The match ended 1-0 in favor of Hearts of Oak.
With this victory, Hearts extended their winning streak to four games. They finished the season in fifth place with 58 points.
