Asare deserves his place in post - Otto Addo - Ghanaian Times

Otto Addo, the Head Coach of the Black Stars, explained his choice for goalkeeper. He started Benjamin Asare from Hearts of Oak in Friday’s qualifier against Chad.

This decision sparked discussions among fans before and after the game. The Black Stars achieved a significant 5-0 victory over Les Sao. This match was part of a FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It was also Benjamin Asare's debut with the Black Stars. He previously played for Accra Great Olympics before joining Hearts of Oak. Asare has performed well, recording 12 clean sheets this season in the Ghana Premier League.
