Hearts of Oak midfielder Kwesi Asmah said their win was hard-earned.
The team defeated Legon Cities FC 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
This match took place on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Asmah, named Man of the Match, acknowledged the challenge from Legon Cities FC.
He promised fans that they will work harder for their next game.
“It was a tough match against Legon Cities,” he said.
“They were organized and kept possession well. We stayed composed and scored.”
“That was the most important thing for us today,” he added.
“We wanted to win, and we did, so we are happy.”
Asmah hopes they can score more goals in their next match.
Hearts of Oak aims to beat FC Samartex next weekend.
A victory would help them finish in the top four this season.
