Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu has reflected on his team's loss to Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians ended Chelsea’s ten-game unbeaten home streak on Sunday. They won 1-0 at the Golden City Park in Round 31.
The only goal came in the 56th minute from Mawuli Wayo. This goal secured a crucial win for Hearts in a tough match.
After the game, Boadu, a former Hearts coach, said, “The result does not reflect the match. It’s unfortunate. The goal we conceded is unpardonable. We did our best to come back but it didn’t happen. We will work on our mistakes.”
This defeat marks Hearts' third straight win over Boadu's team. It also extends their unbeaten run against Chelsea to ten matches. Chelsea's last victory over Hearts was in 2019.
The loss affects Chelsea’s chances for a strong season finish. Meanwhile, Hearts strengthen their position in the top half of the table.
