Bibiani GoldStars Chief Executive Officer Akwasi Adu is confident. He believes the club can win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title. Their plans are on track as the season nears its end.
GoldStars were set to play Nsoatreman FC this weekend. However, they will receive three points and three goals by default. This is due to Nsoatreman's suspension from the league. GoldStars now sit at the top with 56 points, two ahead of Nations FC, who have a game in hand.
In an interview with Channel One TV, Adu emphasized winning their remaining matches. A key match against title rivals Asante Kotoko is on Sunday. “We are looking forward to the title,” he said.
He mentioned a disappointing home loss to Karela. “That result allowed us to pause and reflect,” he added. Adu praised head coach Frimpong Manso for making tactical adjustments since then.
“Football is full of surprises,” he noted. “Our mission is clear: win every match ahead.” Winning is essential to stay in contention for the title.
