The Black Stars have started their camp in London. They are preparing for the 2025 Unity Cup tournament. This tournament includes rivals Nigeria and Caribbean nations Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
Coach Otto Addo has invited 23 players. The first group of players arrived in England on Monday morning. They held a brief indoor warm-up session to recover from a long season.
Later, the team will move to Gtech Community Stadium. There, they will train before facing Nigeria in the semi-finals on Thursday.
The tournament kicks off with Jamaica playing Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday. The Black Stars will play against the Super Eagles the following day.
Winners of the semi-finals will meet in the final on May 31, 2025. The Unity Cup aims to promote unity among the Afro-Caribbean community in the diaspora.
