Black Stars midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana voted Atalanta Player of the month

Ibrahim Sulemana, a midfielder for the Black Stars, has been named Atalanta BC's player of the month for May. His performance during this time was impressive.

The 22-year-old joined Atalanta last summer after excelling at Cagliari Calcio. Although he hasn't played much in Bergamo, he has made the most of his chances. He faced tough competition from Brazilian international Ederson.

Sulemana made 10 appearances across all competitions this season and scored two goals. Both goals came in May. One goal was against AS Roma, securing Atalanta's spot in next season's UEFA Champions League. The other goal was against Genoa.

Due to his strong performances, he was voted the club's best player of the month. Sulemana is originally from Sunyani and recently played for the Black Stars at the Unity Cup tournament. He participated in the third-place playoff against Trinidad and Tobago.
