Brandon Thomas-Asante, a forward for Coventry City, scored for Ghana.
He played against Nigeria in the 2025 Unity Cup semi-final.
This was his first goal for the Black Stars.
Ghana lost the match 2-1 at Gtech Community Stadium in London.
Thomas-Asante made his debut in June 2024 against Central African Republic.
He came off the bench after halftime, replacing Kwame Opoku.
Opoku started alongside Christopher Bonsu Baah and Jordan Ayew.
Thomas-Asante impressed after entering the game.
He scored in the 70th minute to reduce Ghana's deficit.
Last season, he had a great run with Coventry City under Frank Lampard.
He helped them qualify for the Championship playoffs but they lost to Sunderland.
In 38 Championship games, he scored four goals and provided three assists.
