CONFIRMED: Otto Addo to announce Black stars squad for Unity Cup next week

Henry Asante Twum is the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). He announced that Otto Addo will reveal the Black Stars squad next week.

The senior national team will participate in a four-nation tournament this month in the UK. Ghana will play Nigeria in a semifinal match on May 28. This game will take place at Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium, starting at 19:00 GMT.

The winner of this match will face either Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago in the finals. The final is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, at 12:30 GMT.

Asante Twum mentioned that new players would join the squad for the tournament. He said, "The technical team is considering how to approach this Cup." He added that there would be fresh additions while keeping some core players.

He expects the coach to announce his team next week. Local players will join their teammates and travel directly to London for preparations.

Local media reports suggest that Andrews Ntim Manu and Kwame Opoku from Asante Kotoko may join Kamaradini Mamudu, Razak Simpson, and goalkeeper Benjamin Asare for the tournament.
