Competing in Premier League last season was a learning curve - Nations FC Brands Manager, Kennedy Boakye Ansah

Nations FC Brands Manager, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, reflects on the club's journey. He says their debut in the Ghana Premier League was a valuable learning experience.

The Abrankese-based club was promoted from Division One last season. They finished 7th with 49 points in their first top-flight season.

Now, in the 2024/25 season, Nations FC leads the league table with 54 points. There are four matches remaining this season.

“Last season was just a learning curve for us,” he said to Citi Sports. “We had just come up from Division One and needed time.”

He added that winning the league last season would have been a bonus. This season, they have learned important lessons and established effective strategies.

“We’ve put last season behind us,” he stated. “We have the capacity, players, and strategies to win the Ghana Premier League.”

Nations FC aims to strengthen their lead next weekend against Legon Cities. This Matchday 31 clash will take place at Accra Sports Stadium.
