EXCLUSIVE: Asante Kotoko to announce Karim Zito as substantive head coach next week

Asante Kotoko is likely to announce Abdul Karim Zito as their new head coach next week. This news comes from exclusive reports by Kickgh.com.

Zito currently serves as the Technical Director. His head coaching role is temporary. The plan was to hire a permanent coach after this season.

Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio reports that Zito will meet with the Asante Kotoko interim Management Committee next Tuesday. He is expected to be confirmed as the club's full-time head coach.

Mohammed Hamza Obeng, a former Hearts of Oak assistant coach, will join the technical team. He will serve as the second assistant for the senior team and head coach of Young Porcupine FC, the youth side.

Abdul Karim Zito has performed well since taking charge. He remains unbeaten in his first five games, with two draws and three wins. The team is still in the league race with two games left and has reached the final of the MTN FA Cup.
