Ebony FC appoint ex- Ashantigold gaffer Thomas Duah as new head coach

Ebony FC, the current Ashanti Regional Division 2 champions, have a new head coach. They appointed Thomas Duah, former AshantiGold SC manager. This comes ahead of their first division campaign.

The Bantama-based club is well-known in the Ashanti Region and Ghana. They had an impressive unbeaten run this season. Ebony FC finished as champions of zone five. They also beat Benab FC 2-1 in the Middle League to become regional Division 2 champions.

Kickgh.com reports that the 46-year-old coach has accepted the role. He brings valuable experience from his coaching career and playing days. Duah played for clubs like AJ Auxerre and FC St Pauli. He also represented the Black Stars during his active career.

Next season, Ebony FC will compete in Zone 2 of the Access Bank Division One League. The team will soon begin serious preparations for their upcoming matches.
