Eric Taylor scores first goal as Kongsvinger lose to Rosenborg in Norwegian Cup

Ghanaian midfielder Eric Taylor scored for Kongsvinger IL on Tuesday. They lost to Rosenborg in the Norwegian Cup, 3-2.

Taylor played on the right side of midfield. He is a former talent from Accra's New Life Football Academy. He scored the first goal just before half-time. This came after a key pass from Rasmus Christiansen.

Isak Thorvaldsson equalized for Rosenborg eight minutes later. Noa Williams then regained the lead for Kongsvinger in the 67th minute. However, Marius Broholm leveled the score again in the 83rd minute.

In extra time, Iver Fossum scored the winning goal for Rosenborg. They advanced to the quarter-finals of the competition. So far, Taylor has one goal in six games this season.
