FA CUP: “We’re not afraid to face any team in the final” - Golden Kick Chairman Joseph Epson 

Golden Kick chairman Joseph Kwabena Epson is confident about winning the 2024 MTN FA Cup. He believes his team can succeed, no matter who they face in the final.

The Division One League Zone Three side has surprised many. They have eliminated several Ghana Premier League teams during their run. Golden Kick will play Attram De Visser in the first semifinal on Saturday, May 10, at the TNA Stadium. They hope to take another step toward the title.

Epson spoke to Asempa FM about his team's readiness. He mentioned their victories over Premier League sides as proof of their capability. “We’re not afraid to face any team in the final,” he said.

He added that they have already beaten Hearts of Oak, a top team in Ghana. If they could defeat Hearts, he believes beating Kotoko or Berekum Chelsea would not be surprising.

Golden Kick has been strong defensively throughout the competition. They have played five matches, scored four goals, and kept four clean sheets. Their impressive run includes wins over Hearts of Oak and Karela United.

Attram De Visser is also having a good campaign. They have scored five goals and conceded three so far. They reached this stage after eliminating Bibiani Gold Stars in the Round of 16.

The winner of Saturday’s semifinal will advance to the final. There, they could face either Asante Kotoko or Berekum Chelsea for the title.
