GFA assures of expeditious resolution of case involving Nations FC and Holy Stars

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will act quickly on the Nations FC and Basake Holy Stars case.

Their Matchday 33 game ended abruptly at Ampian AAK II Sports Arena. Nations FC protested a second controversial penalty awarded to Basake Holy Stars. This protest led to chaos and violence, prompting Nations FC to walk off the field.

The GFA has noticed concerns about poor officiating and security issues raised by Nations FC. They are now investigating the matter thoroughly.

“The GFA has noted reports of violent incidents during the match,” they stated on Tuesday. “We have begun a thorough investigation into these incidents.”

The GFA assured all stakeholders that it is committed to maintaining the game's integrity. They will address all issues arising from this situation quickly and decisively.
