GFA boss Kurt Okraku appointed Vice President

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Mr. Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has been appointed as First Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

His Moroccan counterpart, Fouzi Lekjaa, is now the Second Vice-President.

This appointment was confirmed at an Executive Committee meeting in Accra on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

President Simeon-Okraku also leads WAFU Zone B. He has been recognized for his strong leadership in Ghana and West Africa.

This new role allows him to influence key policies and initiatives for African football's future.
