GPL: ‘My players are tired’ – Heart of Lions coach Bashir Hayford laments ahead of Young Apostles game

Heart of Lions' head coach, Bashir Hayford, is worried about player fatigue. His team will face Young Apostles this weekend in the Ghana Premier League.

The team from Kpando just returned from Nzema during Week 31. Now, they must travel to Wenchi for their next match.

In a pre-match interview, Coach Hayford expressed his concerns. He noted that the players are tired from back-to-back long trips.

“It’s not been a small journey,” he said. “After coming from Nzema, we are going back to Wenchi. The boys are tired.”

He added that they are managing the players' fatigue levels for Sunday’s game. Despite this challenge, Coach Hayford remains hopeful for a victory against Young Apostles.

This Week 32 match will take place on Sunday, May 25.
